The Shadow mob was formed in mid 2005 by two Whiskers meerkats, Cookie and Sookie, and 5 wild males, Sookie and one of the wild males took dominance till late 2006, when the wild male died and the remainig males (including Cookie) left the group to rove, after this 4 wild males joined the group, in 2008 3 of the males left the group and 2 males joined the group chasing out the remaining male, Sookie died in 2009 and Sookie daughter Cupcake became the dominant female along with one of the males named Iroh.

When the group was first formed Sookie took dominance along with a wild male, VSHM001, a year later the wild male died and another wild male, named Lolo took dominance till 2008, when he was evicted of the group by two wild males, one of the wild males named Iroh took dominance, Sookie died in 2009 and Cupcake took dominance.
