Melton(VLRM001) was born on September 12, 2011 in the Lemurs Mob. His mother was Monera and his father was
BJ. He was born in a litter of four with one brother named Peg Leg(VLRM001) and two sisters named Flame(VLRF002) and Josephine(VLRF003). They were the first litter even born in the Lemurs. All four pups survived their first year and reach adulthood. Melton started to help out around the mob with babysitting and sentry duties. Like all young males, he soon started to take an interested in roving. In December 2012, BJ died leaving the dominant male position open. Melton assumed his father's position and started to help his mother lead the Lemurs. Then in March Monera died as well and Melton's litter-mate sister Flame became the new dominant female. Melton is still alive today as the dominant male of the Lemurs.
