The Zulus was founded by wild meerkats containing one habituated Lazuli male, recently Hoppla. Shaka Zulu had formed the Hoppla but disappeared in 2008. The Zulus was encounter and seen at the edge of the monitored area in late 2009. In 2010 the could was collared and followed. Shaka Zulu had taken dominance with a wild female named Ocho Niple because of her eight instead of six nipples. In 2013 both dominant male and female were lost. A group of new Lazuli males made their way into the mob, Savannah and Finnlex taking dominance.
Dominant Pair[]
In July 2010, Shaka Zulu was discovered to be the dominant male. In October Ocho Niple was discovered to be the dominant female at his side. In April 2013, Shaka Zulu disappeared after being bitten by a snake. Male dominance remain unclear untill September when a group of new Lazuli males joined the mob, with the oldest Finnlex taking dominance. Ocho Niple disappeared in October was was presumed dead. Her daughter Savannah established dominance after her.

The Zulus' main rivals are the Godzilla Mob. Their other rivals are the Misfits and Pandora.
History[]
April 2010: The Zulus were first seen with 19 members. 3 of the members were pups, dominant pair unknown.
May 2010: One individual went roving, dominant pair unknown.
June 2010: One male went roving.
July 2010: Shaka Zulu was discovered to be the dominant male.
August 2010: One female was pregnant.
September 2010: The pregnant female lost her litter.
October 2010: Ocho Niple was discovered to be the dominant female and she was pregnant. Two females wer evicted.
November 2010: Ocho Niple gave birth to Chaka Jr., Savannah and Laurentina. One encounter with Godzilla.
December 2010: Ocho Niple was pregnant. Three females were evicted.
January 2011: Ocho Niple gave birth to another three pups.
Ferbaury 2011: One encounter with Godzilla.
March 2011: One female was pregnant. One encounter with Godzilla.
April 2011: Three pregnant females and evicted.
May 2011: The females aborted their litters. Two encounters with Godzilla.
June 2011: One male went roving at the Lazuli. One encounter with the Godzilla and Misfits.
July 2011: Two female were pregnant. One male went roving.
August 2011: Two females lost their litters and were evicted. Ocho Niple was pregnant. Three males went roving. Two encounters with Godzilla.
September 2011: Ocho Niple gave brith to but lost the litter to the Misfits. One female aborted.Three males went roving. Three encounters with the Misfits.
October 2011: Four females were evicted. Five males went roving went roving and were absent. One enounter with Godzilla and Misfits.
November 2011: Ocho Niple was pregnant. Four females were evicted and Last Seen.
December 2011: Ocho Niple aborted. Seven males went roving and were absent.
Janaury 2012: One female was pregnant. Two encounters with Gdozilla and one with Misfits.
February 2012: One female lost her litter, Ocho Niple aborted and another female was pregnant. Seven males were absent.
March 2012: One female gave birth to two pups. Another female was was pregnant.
April 2012: One female aborted.
May 2012: Five males went roving and were absent.
June 2012: Five males were Last Seen. Two males went roving.
July 2012: Eigg, Jimp, Cagliostro, Kiboko, Fatty Mc Fatty, Crusty, Lionel, Bumpy, Lanky Dave, Buck, Mr. Lahey and Shredder visited. Two ecounters with Baobab and one with Lazuli.
August 2012: An adult female was pregnant. Eigg, Cagliostro and Flammkuchen and unknown meerkat visited.
September 2012: Adult female lost her litter. Three females were evicted and absent. Cagliostro visited.
October 2012: Ocho Niple was pregnant. Three females were Last Seen. One encounter with Baobab.
November 2012: Ocho Niple gave birth to two pups.
December 2012: Two encounters with Boabab.
Janaury 2013: Cagliostro visited. Three unknown gender meerkats were Last Seen. One encounter with Lazuli.
February 2013: One encounter with Lazuli.
March 2013: Unknown roving, evictions and absences.
April 2013: Unknown dominant male, Shaka Zulu was bitted by a snake, was absent and assume to have died. Unknown roving, evictions and absences.
May 2013: Unknown dominant male, unknown roving, evictions and absences.
June 2013: Group split that did not rejoin.
July 2013: Crusty and Bumpy from the Baobab visited.
August 2013: One females was pregnant. One male went roving. Finnlex visited. One encounter with Lazuli. One roving male was absent.
September 2013: Finnlex, Dis-Grace, Caleb, Cagliostro, Gobolino and Pip joined the group. Seven wild meerkats left the group. One female aborted and was absent. Finnlex became the dominant male.
October 2013: Savannah became the dominant female. Ocho Niple disappeared and was Last Seen. Cagliostro and Pip went roving. Chaka Jr. left the group and joined the Acacia.
November 2013: VZUF005 and Savannah were pregnant. Dis-grace, Cagliostro and Pip went roving. Savannah was pregnant.
December 2013: Ocho Niple rejoined the group and took back dominance. Ocho Niple gave birith to Poma, Gezi, Chapulco, Raki and Arpat. Savannah gave birth to but lost her litter. Laurentina was pregnant. Caleb, Cagliostro and Pip went roving. Gobolino became the dominant male.
January 2014: Laurentina aborted her litter. Dis-Grace, Cagliostro and Gobolino went roving. Cagliostro overthrew Gobolino and became the dominant male.
February 2014: Savannah and Laurentina were pregnant.
March 2014: Savannah aborted. Laurentina gave birth to Tiger, Salsera, Ziggidy, VZP015 Wright Sholdiere.
April 2014: Savannah was pregnant. Cagliostro, Finnlex, Dis-Grace, Caleb, Gobolino, Flammkuchen went roving.
May 2014: Savannah gave birth to VZUP017 and VZUM018.
May 2014: Ocho Niple gave birth to Küçük and VZUM018.
June 2014: VZUM018 was predated. Two encounters with Quintessentials.
July 2014: Ocho Niple and Laurentina were pregnant. Finnlex, Pi, Caleb and Flammkuchen went roving.
August 2014: Ocho Niple aborted. Laurentina was pregnant. Caleb, Flammkuchen and Pi went roving. Caleb was absent.
September 2014: Laurentina aborted. Ocho Niple was pregnant. Finnlex, Dis-Grace, Gobbolino, Flammkuchen, and Pi went roving. Laurentina was evicted and absent. Gobbolino was absent.
October 2014: Ocho Niple gave birth to Paikea, Omar, Vishnu and Feijão. Cagliostro, Finnlex, Dis-Grace, Caleb, Gobolino, Flammkuchen, Pi, Gezi and Raki went roving. Laurentina was evicted and appeared four times. Fran-The-Wo-Man visited. One encounter with Nematoads.
November 2014: Finnlex, Dis-Grace, Caleb, Gobolino, Flammkuchen and Pi went roving. A wild meerkat visited. One encounter with Quintessentials. Cagliostro, Flammkuchen, Dis-Grace, Pi, Gezi, Raki, Küçük and Feijão were absent.
December 2014: Ocho Niple and Laurentina were pregnant. Dis-Grace, Caleb, Gobolino, Flammkuchen, Küçük and Gezi went roving.
January 2015: Ocho Niple gave birth but her litter was killed, presumably by Laurentina. Laurentia aborted. Finnlex, Dis-Grace, Flammkucken, Pi, Salsera, Paikea, Omar and Feijão went roving. Vishnu was evicted. Dis-Grace, Caleb and Gobolino were absent.
February 2015: Ocho Niple and Laurentina were pregnant. Caleb went roving. Laurentina was evicted and appeared once. There was an overnight group split and an uncertain group split.
March 2015: Ocho Niple and Laurentina aborted. Poma was evicted. Pi went roving. Three encounters with Quintessentials and one with a wild group.
April 2015: Ocho Niple was pregnant. Chapulco was pregnant but aborted. Tigger was evicted six times and absent. Death visited. Two group encounters with High Voltage. A group split may have occured.
May 2015: Ocho Niple was pregnant. Gobolino went roving. Laurentina and Tigger were evicted. Laurentina appeared four times and was absent. One encounter with High Voltage. One group split during the day and one unknown group split.
June 2015: Ocho Niple gave birth but her pups were lost. An unknown meerkat visited three times. One possible group split occured.
July 2015: Laurentina, Dis-Grace, Caleb, Gobolino and Flammkuchen left the group and formed a subgroup called Tulus. Salsera, Finnlex, Gobolino and Flammkuchen went roving. Tigger was evicted. Tan Tan and an unknown meerkat visited. One encounter with the Zulus subgroup. Salsera was absent.
August 2015: Salsera was Last Seen. Ocho Niple was pregnant. Gezi, Arpat, Wright Sholdiere, Paikea and Omar went roving. Two encounters with Lazuli and one with Quintessentials.
September 2015: Ocho Niple gav eirth to VZUM023, VZUM024 and VZUM025. Chapulo, Tigger and Ziggiby were evicted. Pi, Gezi, Küçük and Paikea went roving. VLM209 and an unknown visited. One encounter with Lazuli and one group split. Salsera joined the Tulus.
October 2015: Caleb and Flammkuchen rejoined the group. Ocho Niple was pregnant. Tigger was evicted. Caleb, Flammkucken, Pi, Raki and Küçük went roving. VLM210 visited. One encounter with Lazuli and one group split.
November 2015: Ocho Niple was pregnant. Gobolino rejoined the group. Caleb, Flammkucken and Arpat went roving. One group split. VZUF015 and VZUM018 left the group and joined the Tulus.
December 2015: Ocho Niple aborted. Group split, Ocho Niple, Caleb, Flammkucken, Gobolino, Pi, Poma, Arpat, Paikea, VZUM024 and VZUM025 split from the group.
Janaury 2016: Group could not be loctaced.
