Joshua Evans was one of the founding members of the MRED. He was born in 1963 into a rich family, as his parents were both British. Joshua Evans was always fascinated with animals, he would always talk about them towards his family and friends.
He became a biologist in 1985, while flipping a book about animals. He accidentally flipped several pages too far. That's when he saw a meerkat for the first time, he was at first shocked that animals like these could survived in a desert environment.
