Bindi(VJHF012) was born on October 22, 2010 into the Johnny 13. Her mother was Kitty the dominant female. Bindi was born in a litter of four pups. Her litter-mates were her one sister Lady Day(VJHF011) and two brothers Mickey(VJHM010) and Kite(VJHM013). They were the first known litter born in the Johnny 13 after the group was habituated by the World Meerkat Project. Sadly Kite was predated soon after the pups started foraging. Dominant male Johnny lost dominance to Danny in November. On March 12, 2011 her mother Kitty gave birth to Tyler, Caylee, Mabelle and Copper. She and her remaining litter mates survived to adulthood.
